Hello! Thank you for visiting E&L Designs where we specialise in quality hand-foiled stickers and much more.  If you are looking for the answer to a burning question, you have come to the right place!  Scroll through the questions below to see if the answer is there but if it isn't, feel free to head over to our contact page and send us a message

What is the ordering process?

Please place your online order by selecting the product, choose any customisations and enter in any personalisation text (if applicable) and then add to cart and complete your order.  I will then create a mockup of your order (if applicable) and email it to you for your approval. Once I have your approval, I will commence making your custom order.  

Please remember to check your emails if your items state that I will send a mockup. The sooner I receive your approval, the sooner I can create your order.

If your order doesn't require a mockup, I will start making your stickers as soon as possible and you shouldn't expect an email of the design.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

As most of my products are personalised, production will take up to 5 business days after the mockup is approved by you (if applicable). When complete, all orders are sent via Australia Post letter post. There are 3 different postage options available including:

  • Standard Priority Post - no tracking available, delivery within 1-2 weeks
  • Registered Priority Post – signature upon delivery, no tracking only delivery status, delivery within 1-2 weeks
    Tracked Priority Post - tracking available and delivery within 1-2 weeks
  • Express Post - includes tracking number and delivery is usually 2-4 business days if you are within the express post network

If you wish to have tracking on your items, please choose express post.  All other items are untracked. All timelines are provided by Australia post and are not guaranteed.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, due to slow postage times I will not be posting internationally at this time. 

What is a mockup?

A mockup is a quick digital version of what your item will look like.  The mockups are just basic versions and anything that needs to be foiled will be shown as black in the mockup. Being black makes it clear to see what will be foiled, plus digital faux foils look awful and nothing like the end product.  You can request changes to your mockup and I will resend it for final approval.

What do you mean by "foil imperfections"?

The foiling process is very hands on and occasionally small particles of dust will get between the foil and the sticker which may cause a small black speck on the sticker where the foil has not adhered. Most of the time they are not very noticeable, however sometimes the imperfection is large and if that is the case, I will include spare stickers to cover any with large imperfections. 

Which fonts do you have?

I have about 1000 commercial use fonts available so I can't list them all on the individual listings.  You can do one of three things when it comes to fonts:

  • Pick a design you like and in the personalisation section write something like "I really like the design with Avery and Samantha, can you use that font?".  I will then create a mockup for you using that font and we can go from there with the design.
  • Advise the kind of font you would like i.e. "Please use a cursive font". I will then create a few mockups for you using some nice cursive fonts which you can provide feedback on.
  • Ask if I can use a specific or similar font that matches your wedding invitations or stationery
    • This is only possible if I own the font or can obtain it for commercial use but I will discuss it with you

Can you create a custom design for me?

No, unfortunately as I have returned to full-time work I am unable to create custom designs for you. I can only offer what is available and in stock on my website.

Can I show you a picture of my vessel / candle jar / party box and you work out what I need?

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to determine what size and shape is required based on a picture. Plus, I don't create custom sizes or stickers any more. You will need to select something from my website that suits your vessel.

Can you design something for me based on something else I've seen?

Unfortunately, I'm unable to create custom designs at this time.  You will need to choose one of the designs available on the website.


Do you sell do vinyl decals?

(A vinyl decal is usually just the wording or image cut out of vinyl and can be applied to a surface such as a wine glass, wall, shop front using transfer tape)

Unfortunately, I don't sell vinyl decals but there are plenty of small Australian businesses out there that do work with vinyl so I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding someone to help.

Do you have examples or videos of your previous work?

I sure do! Are you familiar with Facebook or Instagram.. because I have both and they have a lot of examples of my work including custom stickers and designs. My instagram also has daily stories and saved stories which show short videos of stickers I have created in the past.  You are welcome to send me a screenshot of a design/s from either accounts that you like and want me to recreate for you.

Why don't you ship overseas?

At this stage, I plan to ship within Australia only. I've found shipping to the US and UK very slow, it would take 4-6 weeks sometimes! And people just don't order that far in advance so it was quite stressful for myself and the customer waiting for such long periods.  I may rethink my shipping destinations in the future but for now, I only ship Australia wide.

Can I cancel my order, return or exchange my item?

You can cancel your order within 24 hours.  After that time, please contact me to see if I have started your order.  Depending on where I am in the process, I can potentionally cancel the order minus a change for the materials and time used.

Most of the items I create are customised/personalised and as such cannot be returned or exchanged. I do not accept returns or exchanges based on foil colours as photo examples are provided on individual listings so please make sure you are happy with the foil colour prior to purchasing.

You can request a sample sticker prior to placing an order. Postage costs will not be refunded items have been posted and a refund is applicable.
